International conference on Imperial and Theoretical Research at Israel on may 29-31, 2019.

Sonopant Dandekar College, Palghar,International Board for Education Research and Development (IBERD) and the Department of Higher Education in Israel jointly organized International Conference on Imperial and Theoretical Research from 29th to 31st May 2019. The conference was chaired by Dr. Yuri Resnik and guided by expert academician Eric Zimmerman. On this occasion, on behalf of Sonopant Dandekar Shikshan Mandali, President Adv. G. D. Tiwari appealed for co-operation with educational institutions in Israel. In this conference, Principal Dr. Kiran Save chaired a session and presented research paper on ‘Importance of Yoga’. Asso. Prof. B. N. Jaiswal’s research paper on “Invitro Germination of Fresh and Stored Pollen Grains in Manilkara Zapota, (L.) P.Royen” got second position/rank in the research paper competition. Apart from these, Asso. Prof. Dr. Tanaji Pol presented research paper on ‘Correlation between India and Israel, Asst. Prof. Mahesh Deshmukh on ‘Nature of English in India’, Asst. Prof. Vivek Kudu on ‘Language and taboos, Asst. Prof. Dr. Dilip Yadav on ‘Methods of finding iron in medicine and alloys’.


Advanced Nano-material & Nano technology-2019

(I CANn-2019) on november 26-28, 2019.

A Three days International Conference on Advanced Nanomaterial and Nanotechnology-2019 (I CANn-2019) was jointly organized by Department of Physics, Sonopant Dandekar College and Department of Physics, University of Mumbai on 26th to 28th November 2019 at Palghar. An impressive roster of distinguished speakers from Korea, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan and TIFR, IIT, Nano Centres of Mumbai University have been assemble for this opening ceremony and plenary sessions and present their research views of nanotechnology and also guided students. Conference was inaugurated by Dr. Kiran Mangaonkar, Principal of Khalsa College, Mumbai. In his inaugural speech he addressed that today’s dream become tomorrow’s reality so students must carry out research in nano technology in our country.Dr. Pradip Sarawade, Convener of the Conference from Department of Physics, University of Mumbai in his opening remarks stated that everyone should try to develop new technologies by going beyond the traditional methodologies.

An Online Multidisciplinary Conference on Impact of Technology in Pandemics on Society on February 06, 2021

The IQAC and department of Information Technology and Computer Science had organized an online Conference on February 06, 2021. The Conference highlighted the fact that Technology always had a profound effect on human life and it is even more appreciated in the Pandemics. The Guest Speakers included Mr. Achyut Godbole (Well Known Writer and Former Software Professional) and MR. SACHIN DEDHIA (CISA, CEH, CEI, ISO 27001 LA) an independent Cyber Crime Investigator & also a Certified Ethical Hacker (EC-Council, USA). He is also a certified International trainer in the field of Cyber Security, Ethical Hacking, and Cyber Crime Investigations & Digital forensics. The Conference was attended online by over 280 participants including research scholars from different states attended the conference along with faculties and students of I.T, Comp Science and BMS departments of Sonopant Dandekar College. The Research Scholars presented their research articles in the conference which would be published in the UGC CARE listed journal SAMRIDDHI ISSN: 2229-7111 and EISSN : 2454-5767 after plagiarism checks.


Rethinking Mahatma Gandhi in Present Context on february 29, 2020

National Conference on ‘Rethinking Mahatma Gandhi in Present Context’ was held at Sonopant Dandekar College, Palghar. The conference was jointly organized by Department of Philosophy and other Humanities departments. Dr. Kumar Prashant, President, Gandhi Peace Foundation, New Delhi in his inaugural address expressed that, as long as we live in the hope of an ideal country, an ideal education system and an ideal citizen, Gandhi is alive; Gandhi never dies. When we study Gandhi, every time we get different futuristic perspectives about him. Kumar Prashant also mentioned that beauty is hidden in simplicity. We should use resources sparingly, every person should become productive, should inculcate non-violence, give new symbolic meaning to gandhian thoughts, concepts, only and only then Gandhi will continue to survive. Researchers, scholars and students from various states participated in the conference.

The conference was organized with the aim of rediscovering Gandhian philosophy in present context and attracting students towards Gandhian philosophy. On this occasion, a special programme ‘Gandhi Ko Gali Maro’ was organized for students from various collages in Palghar vicinity and other colleges with the objective of dispelling the misconceptions about Gandhi in the minds of youth. In this session journalist and social activists Vijay Tambe and Pradip Khelurkar answered various doubts and questions of students about Gandhi. “Be the change you wish to see in the world.”

Dr. Sunildatt Gawre’s book “Indian Ethics” was published at the auspicious hands of chief guest and other dignitaries.


Business opportunities in Asian countries on november 26, 2019.

The Department of Commerce and Management Studies in association with National Dong Hwa University, Taiwan organized International Workshop on Business Opportunities in Asian Countries on 26th November 2019. The objective of the workshop was to make the students aware of the business opportunities and to give information about different Universities in Asian countries for future education and research. The workshop was inaugurated by the guest and the dignitaries by lighting the lamp. The expert speakers for the workshop were Dr.Tony Chieh-TseHou (College Of Management, Department of Finance) NDHU, Taiwan, Dr, Shu-Ling Chen (Department Of Business Administration And Graduate Institute Of Logistics Management) NDHU, Taiwan, Dr. Sara Shawhwachen, and Dr.Jeuwen Hang, NDHU, Taiwan. Faculties, staff members and students actively participated in the workshop. The workshop was interactive in nature so students were able to clarify all their doubts and questions regarding the international education and different opportunities in various Asian countries.
